Frequently Asked Questions
What is your preferred tattoo style and what styles do you not do?
I am strictly a fine line artist, so anything that can be done with a fine needle, I can do. I love to create small to large scale floral designs, script tattoos will always have a place in my heart and I’ll never get tired of them, and I dabble with micro realism here and there. For more on my preferred styles check out my portfolio here!
I am unable to do styles involving a lot of colour, heavy filling styles such as traditional, Neo-traditional, blackwork, or watercolour.
How do I book an appointment, and what is the booking process like?
The booking process is very simple. Just select the “book now” button at the top or bottom of this page, you’ll be lead to my booking form. Once I have all the info I need from you I’ll reply with availability, pricing and deposit instructs. Filling out the form does not mean you are booked, it’s only the first step for me to get all the details I need before offering you all the above info.

Is your pricing per hour or per piece?
Pricing will be offered per piece, not per hour, because I would like my clients to know exactly what to expect to pay going into the appointment.
Keep in mind, booking multiple tattoos in one session will be more cost effective than booking them in multiple sessions. A “multiple tattoo” option is available in the booking form.
What is the design process like, and when will I see my design?
Because I find it much easier to communicate in person, you can expect to find a design ready for you on the day of your appointment, based on the photo references sent in with your booking form. I always allow for enough time to make unlimited changes to the design right then and there until you are perfectly happy with the final, as opposed to going back and forth via email. This makes the design process both more time efficient, personal and interactive.
What should I do to get ready for my appointment?
Make sure you are - not pregnant or breast feeding, not sunburned in the area you will be getting the tattoo, not under the influence of alcohol or other substances, hydrated, and have had a good meal a few hours before the appointment. Bonus points if you have been moisturizing your skin prior to the appointment by a few days.
Feel free to bring water, snacks or anything you feel might make you more comfortable during the appointment such as headphones.
What about numbing cream?
If you feel like you won’t be able to handle the pain and would like to use numbing cream that’s no problem. Please follow the instructions of the numbing cream you feel comfortable using. In my experience, I find applying a thick layer at least half an hour before the appointment works best and covering with plastic wrap will help the cream not evaporate.
Keep in mind fine line tattoos are often not s painful as people typically expect and I it’s best not to stress too much about numbing cream.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! As long as your guest is mindful and respectful of others, they are more than welcome!
How do I book a touch up?
Same as a normal booking. Just go to my Booking Link and select “touch up”
What is your reschedule and cancellation policy?
For a reschedule, I need at least a 48 hour notice in order to reschedule your appointment without needing a new deposit. If I am given less than a 48 hour notice, a new deposit will be required to reschedule.
For cancellations, the deposit is forfeit and cannot be used towards another tattoo in the future.
Do I need a consultation?
No!
Some artists require consultations for large pieces, however for me, I like to work the consultation into the appointment. I find it feels more like a collaboration between myself and the client that way.
If I need more details about your design you can expect an email or message from me asking for clarification, but the final design will be done on the day of the appointment rather than requiring an extra trip to the studio from my clients to do a consultation.
